John has over twenty-five years of experience in designing, implementing, and administering executive compensation and benefit plans. His specialty areas include Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), Deferred Compensation, and Split Dollar plans. He also has extensive knowledge in working with tax-exempt employers. In John’s previous position he was the Chief Operating Officer for a successful and established non-qualified plan practice and was responsible for overseeing the design and administration departments, accounting, and technology.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Albany, John earned his master’s degree from Bentley College in Management Information Systems. John holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities registrations, is a registered representative with M Holdings Securities, Inc., and holds the Massachusetts Life, Accident, and Health license (#5408873). He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from The American College. John and his wife reside in Ipswich, Massachusetts. They have four children, 2 dogs, and enjoy the outdoors; golfing, hiking, and skiing.
